  • To provide you with an accurate and transparent quote, I consider several key factors, aligning my approach with standard industry practices for commercial and editorial photography. Understanding these elements will help you convey your needs effectively when we discuss your project :

    Project scope & complexity :

    • Creative brief : the specific vision, desired style, and overall creative direction.

    • Location(s): number of locations, accessibility, and unique challenges (e.g., remote wilderness, extreme weather conditions).

    • Duration: the estimated time required for the shoot itself (number of shooting days/hours) and the overall project timeline.

    • Equipment: any specialized gear, drones, or additional permits/insurance required.

    Usage & licensing : Image licensing is a critical component of professional photography pricing. The fee for using an image depends on its intended purpose, duration of use, geographical reach, and exclusivity.     • Where will the images be used ? (e.g., website, social media, print ads, brochures, annual reports, billboards, editorial)

    • Custom proposal & quote : following our consultation, I will prepare a comprehensive proposal and a transparent, no-obligation quote. We'll then review this together, allowing for any necessary revisions to ensure it perfectly aligns with your expectations and budget.

    • Agreement & Scheduling : upon your approval, we will formalize our collaboration with a signed service agreement. This agreement will clearly outline the project scope, deliverables, usage rights, and a mutually agreed-upon payment schedule. Typically, a 50% retainer is required upon scheduling the shoot to secure your dates, with the remaining 50% due upon successful completion of the shoot and before final image delivery. Payments can be conveniently made via bank transfer, Stripe, or PayPal.

    • Flexible Pre-Production : I understand that creative projects can evolve. Minor adjustments to the creative brief or specific picture requirements (e.g., swapping a sunset shot for a blue hour one, adjusting a specific vantage point) can be accommodated up until the commencement of the shoot, ensuring the final outcome meets your evolving needs.

    • Execution & Post-Production : once on location, I will meticulously execute the shoot, focusing on capturing images that align with our agreed-upon plan. Following the shoot, I will expertly select and meticulously edit the images, applying my signature post-production techniques. I am happy to provide progress updates throughout this phase, should you wish.

    • Final Delivery : your high-resolution, meticulously retouched images will be delivered digitally within 7-14 business days or as agreed upon in our contract via a secure, private online gallery or link. Alternative delivery methods can be arranged for your convenience.

The images will be delivered to you digitally within 7-14 days of the shooting via a private link or by any other means at your convenience.

Payments can be made via Paypal, a bank transfer or Stripe (credit card) in a secure and encrypted manner, once the quote has been accepted and signed.

  • As the photographer, I retain the copyright to all my images, which is standard industry practice. However, hiring my services always includes a specific, clearly defined usage license that grants you the rights you need to use the images in line with your commercial or editorial goals.

  • If the weather conditions are not great on the shooting day, or if they do not correspond to those you originally desired, two options are available to you :

    • accept the new weather conditions, let me deal with them and deliver the images as planned,

    • don’t accept them. We can then reschedule the shooting once wherever feasible (international flights, on-site conditions, additional costs incurred, etc.).

  • The images will be in sRGB by default, as this is the most compatible and universal color space for online use. I can also send them to you in AdobeRGB or ProPhoto RGB.

  • The images will be in .tiff and .png extensions by default. I can also send them to you in many other extensions, such as .jpg if you need compressed images for your website.

  • All direct project expenses (such as flights, accommodation, local transport, per diems for meals, shooting permits, and site access fees) are clearly itemized and billed transparently in your quote. These costs are typically charged at actual rates or based on previously agreed terms and are separate from the photography service fees.
