Projects, series & books
I organize my photographic work into series in order to best plan my shots in advance, and give more meaning to my images thanks to the themes that emerge. Although my gallery is small for now, it is destined to grow considerably over the next two years. So, while you can find here some of the main series I'm already working on, I intend to add new ones of a smaller scale such as a minimalist one, another one linked to textures and a final one dedicated to European flowers.
Splendors of Europe and the Mediterranean Rim
This series is currently the guiding thread for my photography. I love the Old Continent for its beautiful and varied landscapes. From the desertic mountains of the Moroccan Atlas to the steep fjords of Scandinavia, from the verdant volcanoes of the Azores to the misty forests of the Carpathians, I’d like to photograph and sublimate the most beautiful places. My goal, as difficult as it sounds, is to offer a definitive and complete collection of fine art images of the remarkable places I have selected in Europe and around the Mediterranean. I am currently looking for a publisher willing to collaborate on the production of a high-quality book dedicated to this series.
Alpine grandeur
Having been hiking very often in the mountains during my childhood, and now having a passion for the great outdoors, the Alps have naturally become my favorite place to practice photography. It's the place where I feel happiest and most at ease, and where I've been able to capture my favorite images.
I particularly appreciate the Ecrins National Park and the Chamonix valley.
While I’ve mainly surveyed the French Alps so far, I intend to cover the entire range in order to show the diversity of landscapes to be found there. This project crosses seasons, mountain massifs, borders and photographic subjects.
I'm trying to divide this project into geographical or thematic 'mini-series' (Remarkable trees, lonely peaks...).
I’m also looking for a pulisher in order to collaborate on the production of a high-quality book.
French mosaic
The third project I'm working on focuses on France. I want to emphasize the diversity of its landscapes. We are fortunate to have a wide variety of landscapes, all relatively close to each other and representative, on a smaller scale, of what can be found elsewhere in Europe. Although I'd like to concentrate for now on areas such as the Alps, the Pyrenees, Normandy, Provence and Paris, I'd also like to photograph more confidential locations in order to highlight little-known territories. I'm currently looking for a publisher for this series too.
