Claws
The clay of the Bardenas Reales, this unique desert in Navarra, takes on surprisingly varied shapes and colors in certain areas. While returning from a long hike in this lunar landscape, I stumbled upon these small fissures that reminded me of claws. Eroded by wind and rain and covered with gypsum fragments resembling glass, they create a beautiful leading line toward three majestic cliffs in the background of this scene. There was just enough light left on these cliffs which still gleamed faintly, illuminated by the last rays of twilight.
