Soft dunes
A spectacular storm in the micro-desert of Maspalomas, in the south of Gran Canaria. The stormy clouds perfectly complemented the scene, embracing the soft and majestic curves of the golden dunes. I particularly loved this composition for its simplicity and color contrasts. The wind was quite violent, and the rain came in waves of large drops that darkened the light-colored sand. It was even the first time I witnessed a dust devil far across the dunes, which swirled for several minutes before dissipating.
