Twilight in Gondor
After a somewhat disappointing sunset at a viewpoint a little further in the mountains of Madeira, I returned in time to this tree that I had already scouted from my first visit to capture the last pink-red glimmers. This indirect light was particularly well-suited to the scene in my opinion, as it was reflecting on the numerous clouds and then on the landscape elements. The tree, the anchoring point of the composition that immediately evokes the famous white tree of Minas Tirith from The Lord of the Rings, was capturing the soft glimmers and stood out perfectly against the dark volcanic peaks in the background.
