Winding road
Sunset picture of one of the most photographed locations in the Tuscan countryside, in the Crete Senesi. The winding cypress-lined road leading to this podere makes it extremely photogenic. The sun setting just above the hills in the background bathes everything in soft golden light and casts long shadows. Although this scene has been captured countless times, I still wanted to create my own composition. I chose to fill the frame with the leading line formed by the road, making it run from one corner to the other, and to center both the farmhouse and the light source for a balanced composition.
